Most of us are familiar with the Richter Magnitude Scale which assigns a singl
e number to quantify the amount of seismic energy released by an earthquake. Looking at the scale recently I was intrigued by how similar the descriptors of an earthquake’s severity are to those which we use to describe wine. As a result, I have decided to enhance my wine reviews with the new and improved Rickter (from my first name, of course) Wine Scale. Unlike the traditional scale, I will rate only in 1/2 points (versus tenths of a point). Don’t hesitate to give me your feedback. Drink well!
Life is short. Drink Spanish wine!

Check out my new business http://www.rubdoneright.com a rub created by my brother from Alaska years ago and once I got smart and started using it, it took off.
